"I FINALLY found the absolute best contractor in the world! Doug from Hearth n Home is an all-around amazing guy. He re-did our shower for us! We have had 3 contractors who claimed that they knew why our shower was leaking. Which we had just had done in bluestone. And they all failed at fixing the problem. Doug came in and right away knew what the problem was. He had to remove all of the bluestone and we had it re-finished with tile. It was a lot of work. Doug was here every single morning without missing a day. Our tile somehow got lost(from the company that we got it from) Doug stayed on top of them for us and he even went to pick it up for us once the new tile was ordered. I can’t wait to have him back to re-do my bathroom in my room. FYI...save yourself the hassle and aggravation of dealing with other contractors! Hire Doug. I promise you, you will not regret it! OH, and did I mention he painted the bathroom for us too! Thank you, Doug, for our beautiful shower! You are amazing!

"Hearth n Home NY LLC bailed me out - literally! It was the day after the big, weekend rain storm. The water level in my cellar was at 8 inches and rising fast. My new oil burner was about to be submerged. HELP! Douglas showed up at my house, pumped out my cellar, and installed a sump pump for me so this would never happen again. While he was down in the cellar, he noticed 2 of my lolly support columns were rotten (one of which was directly under my brand new refrigerator in the kitchen) - he showed up the next day and replaced them. Douglas then walked around my whole foundation, showed me where the water was coming in, and how to fix it. Talk about proactive!"
